What is Gesprek? Gesprek is Dutch for talk, converse, etc. It is an IRC client specifically for Macintosh computers running on Intel processors and Leopard/Snow Leopard. Unlike the many forks of X-Chat Aqua floating around, this is a completely new IRC client being developed from the ground up.

This is a BSD Licensed, project as it will contain proprietary code which will be re-used in other commercial applications which will not be released. Due to the demands of time that this project will take to get to the first public Alpha, I am not accepting offers for testing at this time.

With a major move coming up, I hope to have an Alpha release by March, but please do not hold me to this date.

News: I have halted work on X-Chat Aqua as there is a conflict of interest and the licensing is pretty convoluted with code copyrighted by various authors. I will make available to anyone interested in my replacement icons for X-Chat Aqua. Simple tweet me and I will send you a zipfile that you can simply drop into the Contents/Resources directory.
